Aikya is a Sanskrit word meaning oneness, unity, harmony.
Aikya also refers to the identity of the human soul and the universe with the Eternal. The undivided unity of all existence is the central principle at the core of Theosophy. Awareness of this unity brings about self-responsibility, harmony and compassion in daily life. Such awareness can indeed help to transform the world.
This website is committed to support the work of The Theosophical Society with international Headquarters at Adyar, Chennai, India, by affirming the Society's essential unity while acknowledging that it is spread out throughout the world in a vast diversity of ethnicities, cultures, religions and viewpoints.
Aikya exists to support and strengthen the Theosophical Society, its Objects and its purpose. |
